CleanOS

Download CleanOS

Boot from USB or configure a virtual machine in QEMU. Disable UEFI Secure Boot at startup; CleanOS uses the Limine bootloader, which is currently signed only by our own Tech-Bunker public key, not Microsoft's.

Minimum System Requirements:

  • Processor: x86_64 compatible CPU (Intel Core/Xeon or AMD Ryzen/EPYC) with VT-x/AMD-V hardware virtualization.
  • Memory (RAM):
    • • < 4 GB RAM: Works, but AI-Reasoning engine is deactivated (low memory footprint).
    • • 4 - 7 GB RAM: AI-Reasoning enabled with the compact CleanThinker 0.5B model (Q4/Q5/Q8, scaled to available RAM).
    • • 7 - 16 GB RAM: AI-Reasoning enabled with the full CleanThinker 3B Q5_K_M model.
    • • > 16 GB RAM: Full functionality with the high-fidelity CleanThinker 3B Q8_0 model.
  • Storage: 128 MB free space on NVMe or SATA SSD (CleanDrive CoW).
  • Graphics: VirtIO-GPU or Limine GOP-compatible monitor.
